SEND Assessment and Intervention tools
There are a number of assessment tools that can be used within educational settings to help assess any additional needs a young person may has as well as helping to develop strategies which can be used to support SEND pupils in the setting.
This page has a range of assessment tools and interventions as well as which agencies you can refer to if you need to take this further.
A lot of resources and documents can be found on this Kirklees Special Educational Needs Documents page - this includes information about SEND Support, EHCP's, Good Practice, Kirklees SEND strategic documents and person centred approaches - including the PATH.
We do not endorse any one tool over another, the information on this page is to help SENDCO's and school staff to find a range of tools for the 4 areas of need.
The Education Endowment Foundation has created a Early Years Measures Database which reviews a large range of language, literacy, numeracy and SEMH assessment tools.
Please use the following dropdown boxes to find the relevant assessment tools, interventions, guidance as well as where to refer to for further guidance.
