SEND Basic awareness training

An online introduction for anyone who may work with children, young people (up to 25) or their families who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This training will give you a broader understanding of SEND and signpost you to SEND support and services.

This should take no longer than 20-minutes and includes a fun quiz at the end to check your understanding.

This training is available via the following ways:

  • My Learning for those with a Kirklees email address 
  • Kirklees Safeguarding Children's Partnership (KSCP) e-learning (this site requires you to register which can be done on the site using any email address).
