Access to Kirklees Delegation Portal (for educational settings)
Exciting update: Access to Kirklees Delegation Portal for settings from 2 July 2025!
Following sharing information with SENCo’s at SENCoNet and the Area Cluster Leads we can now update you with the exciting news below.
From 2 July, settings, including education settings, will have access to the Kirklees Delegation Portal. This secure, centralised system supports the development, review, and implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
This is part of our ongoing commitment to improving local EHCP processes for the benefit of children and young people, their families, and our partners. This is the first stage in the roll out and requires minimum training and no understanding of the wider Liquid Logic system.
What does this mean for you?
This function streamlines every stage of the EHCP journey, from initial assessments to reviews and ongoing support, ensuring compliance with regulations and improving communication.
With this system, you’ll be able to:
- Share consultation advice, annotated plans, and Annual Reviews directly with the EHCP service.
- Receive outcome notifications quickly and securely.
In practical terms it is like communicating via email, however it captures information regarding advice, annotated plans and annual review information directly onto the child’s/ young person’s electronic EHCP “record”.
Getting started
To begin this first step of using Liquid Logic, you’ll need to register for an account at KirkleesSchoolsPortal@kirklees.gov.uk and we’ll get you set up. The registration process typically takes 10 minutes, and we’ll guide you through the next steps.
Need help?
Check out our Kirklees Delegation Portal Micro-Learning for a quick introduction to the system.
If you have any trouble with your account, just email us at KirkleesSchoolsPortal@kirklees.gov.uk and we’ll be happy to help.
We will provide more update in the Autumn term with some headline key messages regarding annual reviews and Change of Phase.
A quick reminder that work over the summer for ongoing Education and Health Needs assessment will require the team to continue to send out consultations. Please ensure that the office staff and other teams in your settings are aware to continue to expect communications from the team during the summer and we will need responses in line with the usual 15 working days.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
