Easy way to find loads of accessible activities across Yorkshire
Barnardo's Kirklees are offering a new service to the families of children and young people, aged up to 18, who are waiting for a neurodevelopmental assessment in Kirklees.
NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) who are responsible for planning and buying the service want to know what is working well and what could be better. They are working with Disability Partnership Calderdale, PCAN, Healthwatch Kirklees, Healthwatch Calderdale and Ross Care who have helped the ICB design a survey and online events where people can give their views.

In July this year, Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission carried out an inspection of the SEND support and services across Kirklees from Education, Health and Social Care. The report has now been published and can be found here.
Staff from our Early Years Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team have been invited to the House of Lords thanks to their outstanding support for early years children with SEND.
