Irlen/scotopic sensitivity or meares or Irlen Syndrome is a disorder of the vision or image processing in the brain not an optical problem. It can cause reading problems as the text movesand blurs, eye strain,tiredness,migranes and muscle pain. 
Screening can diagnose wether the use of coloured overlays, glasses or contact lenses can make reading more comftable. 

This screening is suitable for anyone who is experiencing reading problems. It is a non invasive treatment that has life chnaging results and improves reading speed. It can also help depth perception.

Everyone is eligible for a screening and it can also run in families. Many people who have dyslexia have Irlen syndrome.
