Mental Health Specialist Employment Support Service provide one-to-one person centred support to individuals experiencing difficulty with their mental health.
We focus on promoting positive well-being, building confidence and self-esteem to support towards accessing education, training, voluntary work, employment and retaining employment.
We also offer peer support workshops and groups. Some examples below:
- Stress Management
- Self Esteem and Resilience
- Assertiveness and communication
- Confidence to work well
- Well being
- Volunteering Taster
- Arts, reading and Newsletter groups
Who is this service for?
Age 18 + living in Kirklees, who are experiencing mental health challenges. Also supporting people with ASD (Autistic Spectrum Condition) and hidden disabilities.
How to access what we do
You can contact us directly and self refer or we accept referrals from community psychiatric nurses, psychologists, consultant psychiatrists, occupational therapists, Job Centre Plus and other partner agencies.
