Highfield School is a Special School for Children aged 11 - 19 who have Severe Learning Difficulties.
At
Highfield School we provide a student-centred curriculum, delivered in an inclusive environment. Students will develop their communication, independence and social skills to make outstanding personal progress towards their EHCP outcomes. We prepare them for the responsibilities and experiences of adult life, with opportunities for building their resilience .
Highfield caters for pupils with a range of special educational needs including hearing impairment, visual impairment, physical disabilities and diagnosis such as of Autism and ADHD.
Pupils move to Highfield from Mainstream primaries as well as specialist provisions.
We welcome families to come and visit to discuss their child's needs further.
