Our Inclusion Offer
Lindley CE Infant School is an inclusive school where the learning and teaching, achievements, attitudes and well-being of every young person matter. At our school, we take into account the wide range of abilities, aptitudes, interests and needs of the children in our planning, teaching and assessment. We are committed to a “whole school” approach to special educational needs and disabilies (SEND), believing that all staff have an important part to play to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their specific needs, make the best possible progress within school.
Every effort is made to ensure that pupils identified as having SEND are fully involved in the life of the school. We have a child and family centred approach and pride ourselves in the positive relationships we build with our families. Termly 'Parent Space' groups are held to for parents of children with SEND, providing opportunities for parents to access support from school, external professionals and groups, and from each other.
