We will endeavour to get anyone climbing and have specifically approved SEND friendly equipment including:
- an assist hoist system which is used in conjunction with a full body harness that has been specifically designed to cater for a wide age and size variance
- a chute harness for those climbers who require fully assisted climbing (this is where the parent/carer will be shown how to use the system to help the climber achieve their goal)
- a mobile hoist for assisting with fitting the harness to anyone wheelchair bound
Fully assisted/assisted SEND climbers WILL require a carer or parent to accompany in the climbing arena.
The cost is £13.50 per climber.
Children aged 2.5 to 4years require one to one supervison.
Tuesdays and Weds Termtime only.
Who is this service for?
Anyone from age 4 with a minimum weight limit of 12 kg (3.5 stones) and a maximum weight of 140 kg (22 stones).
Siblings are welcome to climb in the same session.
