Emley Moor Riding for the Disabled

Our sessions are outdoors, depending on the weather.

They are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 5pm to 7pm during the months May to September.  The cost is £8 per half hour.

Anyone with additional needs that would benefit from horse riding. Each pony has a leader and additional volunteers to side walk and assist the riders.  Parents are welcome to stay and many parents sidewalk.  Siblings can stay if beneficial to the rider but that would depend on availability of ponies.

We don't have a hoist so can only take wheelchair users if their parent/carer can life them onto a pony.  We are able to lift younger riders onto the ponies.
