Local Offer Live 2024 - Workshops

At this years Local Offer Live we tried something different with the workshops and created video workshops so that you can watch them later if you didn't get a chance to see them on the day.

We have three workshops covering the following topics:

• Employment and Skills for those with SEND - a look at what help and support is available to help young people with SEND get into work.
• Help in the Early Years - this workshop explores what parents and carers can do at home to help their children be ready for school as well as who can help if additional help and support is needed.
• Support you can expect from education settings for young people with SEND - this looks at what you can expect teachers and school to do to support children and young people with SEND.
