Day opportunities provide a safe, informal, friendly place for you to make friends and enjoy both community activities and activities in the centres. They can also give carers or family a break from their caring roles and take some time for their own interests.
Many people feel anxious at the thought of using day opportunities but you can be pleasantly surprised when you find out what we can offer as a service.
It is a safe, informal, friendly place for people to meet others and take part in activities that will help maintain their life skills. This could benefit the individual and their family.
Who is this service for?
Adults, over age 18, who have a diagnosed learning disability and who may have additional physical disabilities too.
We are also progressing our service to support individuals with complex health/behavioural needs.
How to access what we do
People will be assessed by the Community Learning Disabilities Social Work Team and be referred to us by them providing they meet our criteria.

We are open Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm when our management team will be delighted to give you a tour of our facilities and discuss your needs with you in more detail. A personal visit is the best way to see what we have to offer.
