All about us

The EHCP team are responsible for processing EHCNA applications, (where these are agreed) coordinating and writing EHCP’s and ensuring the annual review process is managed. 

 

This service oversees the application, production, review and commissioning of special educational provision for children and young people with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND), who need additional support above what is normally provided within education settings, and have an Education, Health & Care Plan (EHCP).  

 

This includes identification of appropriate educational provision 

Who is this service for?

The services works young people (0-25) and families going through the EHCP application process as well as those with an existing EHCP.

The service is there to ensure children and young people with an EHC Plan receive the right support in education to enable them to thrive. This means the team also work with education settings and colleagues in health and social care.
