REAL Employment

REAL aim to support adults age 18+ with learning disabilities, autism and/or additional needs into sustainable and meaningful, paid employment. Job advisors can help match skills, write a CV, prepare for interviews, source training opportunities, support whilst working and build confidence and independence. Individuals can refer themselves or someone can make a referral on behalf of someone else, for example a family member or professional.

To be able to access REAL, potential customers need to meet certain criteria. This includes:

• Live in Kirklees
• Be aged 18+
• Have a learning disability, additional needs and or autism (you do not need a diagnosis, just as long as you face the same barriers into employment)
