Scope - Parents Connect
All about us
Parents Connect has supported over a thousand parents and carers to connect with others, access information and improve their wellbeing since we started four years ago. But the last few years have changed life in many ways for many people. To better meet the needs of parents and carers, we’re developing a new service that will support even more people.
Next steps As we move towards our new service, we will be unable to offer direct services to parents until the Autumn. This means we will no longer be offering the multi-week cohorts. We will still accept referrals from any parents who would like to go on the waiting list for the new offer. Please continue to refer in as usual. We will keep you informed as we develop this new offer, sending you dates of delivery as soon as we know them.
Scope services
Although we’re pausing Parents Connect, we are still here for parents and carers.
Navigate provides personalised emotional support for parents and carers of disabled children.
Sleep Right helps parents and carers of disabled children to improve their child's sleep.
Our Online Community is a space to make friends, share experiences and get advice.
.
Who is this service for?
The service is for parents and carers who are:
- aged 18 or over
- the parent or carer of a child with additional needs, between the age of 0 and 18. You do not need a diagnosis.
- living in England or Wales
How to access what we do
We will still accept referrals from any parents who would like to go on the waiting list for the new service.
You can apply for yourself or get a referral from a professional, such as a family support worker. We will add you to the waiting list, so you are the first to hear news.
