Mount Pleasant Primary School

Mount Pleasant Primary School is a Kirklees maintained school. We are a large 3-form entry school, starting from Nursery to Year 6 for children aged 3-11 years old. Admission is through the standard admissions process which can be found on our website. 

We work with parents and other professional agencies to support a positive transition to our school. Parents are invited into school to meet the class teacher and SENCo.

Mount Pleasant Primary School is an inclusive school serving a diverse community. We ensure that through our teaching and learning, achievement, attitudes, and the well-being of every child matters, thus ensuring success. We have a whole school approach to special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and work hard to ensure that through a range of provision, specific individualised support, that every child reaches their full potential.
