Upperthong Junior and Infant School

Situated on the outskirts of the small town of Holmfirth it is a rural school with far reaching views over the Holme Valley yet within easy walking distance from the town centre.  We cater for children aged 4-11 in 7 single age classes and are committed to providing an excellent learning journey for all our children.  Our Ofsted inspection in September 2017 described us as a ‘Good School’.

We are part of the Holmfirth Community Hub

8.50am- 3.30pm with an onsite Breakfast Club which operates from 7.30am and an After School Club which runs until 6pm.
