Valley Beats Samba Band

This friendly Samba Band draws adults from all ages and all walks of life, learning to play all the Samba instruments together in a supportive group environment. Sessions are £3 to drum. Anybody who comes with a person/group that they support or care for is free.
- Wednesdays - 10am to 11.30am at Holmfirth Tech, Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth, HD9 3AR
- Thursdays - 10am to 11.30am at Denby Dale Methodist Church, Cumberworth Lane, Denby Dale, HD8 8QT
Sessions typically operate term time only. All instruments and full tuition is provided by a professional Community Percussionist.
Who is this service for?
Adults from all walks of life. This includes both retired and working people, those with physical or learning disabilities, carers or parents wanting a break, the elderly, those with mental health issues and those wanting the challenge of learning a new skill.
We can also accommodate home-schooled children who come with an adult.
Adults with learning disabilities are expected to come with their own support if they require it.
