Phab Expands Inclusive Support for Families of Disabled Children in Kirklees

Phab, a national charity with over 60 years of experience supporting families affected by disability, is launching a new initiative in the Kirklees area.
Known for its inclusive ethos, Phab brings together disabled and non-disabled individuals through a wide range of engaging activities that promote friendship, confidence and community.
As part of this exciting development, Phab is seeking parents and carers of children with disabilities who are interested in helping shape and participate in a new Phab Club in Kirklees. This club will offer a welcoming, inclusive space where families can connect, share experiences and access meaningful opportunities for their children.
Phab Clubs offer activities such as cookery, crafts, music, dance and sports—designed around the interests and needs of their members. These clubs provide not only fun and social interaction for children and young people with disabilities but also vital support and connection for their families.
With over 130 clubs across the UK, Phab is expanding its reach. The new Kirklees club represents a significant opportunity to support more families locally.
If you're a parent or carer of a disabled child and would like to get involved—or if you're interested in volunteering—please visit www.phab.org.uk to learn more. For more information about the new club in Kirklees, please contact jacqui.sutton@phab.org.uk
