We want to co-produce this project with people with a learning disability, as well people with lived experience of life with a learning disability. So, we have recruited three paid trainers with a learning disability or lived experience with a learning disability to help us run the project.
This project will develop and deliver a 12 week course around healthy relationships for local people with a learning disability, as well as provide workshops for families of people with a learning disability and professionals supporting people with learning disabilities.
We are currently looking for parents and carers to get involved in our steering group. Travel expenses will be paid.
