All about us

Our training programmes help staff to prevent and manage challenging behaviours, both verbally and physically, in a way that supports the young person who may present these behaviours.

Our training focuses on primary and secondary intervention strategies to recognise the early signs of distress and to identify the functions and triggers to changes in behaviour, to promote positive early interventions and to prevent further escalation in the behaviour. The training can also cover, where appropriate, risk assessment and physical strategies to disengage or prevent physical harm including safe holding and physical intervention.

The cost for Online Theory courses is £7.50 (+VAT) per person for a 30-day licence.

The cost for classroom-based training is £695.00 (+VAT) per day plus Trainers mileage at £0.45p per mile. We can accommodate up to 12 or 16 staff per course, depending upon the training course chosen.
